TUISHOU (push hands) competitions regulations

It will be the first European Cup competition this year within the Nordic Open Wushu Championships. This means it is an official ranking-based WKFE competition in Tuishou with WKFE rules. 

Age classes: 
Senior (18-50 years)
Juniors (15-17 years)

Categories:

● Fixed/static step 

● Free Moving/dynamic step 

●  The Tuishou competition will be an Individual Competition.

●  Each team may enter an unlimited number of athletes per weight category.

●  The single elimination system will be adopted. If the number of competitors is three (3) or less, a single round–robin method will be adopted.

●   The age calculation is based on the age (according to their passport) on the first day of the competition.

 Competition RULES – Tuishou

●   Unless otherwise stated within these regulations, the competition will be conducted by the “2024 WKFE Rules & Judging Method“. The official rules will be available soon.

●   The Rules and Methods may be interpreted solely at the discretion of WKFE.

 Dress code  – Tuishou

Lower part: Both competitors wear long tracksuits or kimono bottoms; one is blue, and the other is red. For the 2025 competition, competitors may also wear a dark-colored tracksuit or kimono.Upper part: The upper part is a short-sleeved T-shirt, one in blue and the other in red. Both competitors perform barefoot.

Female: -48 kg; -52kg; -56kg; -60kg; -65kg; -70kg; -75kg; +75kg.

Male: -48 kg; -52kg; -56kg; -60kg; -65kg; -70kg; -75kg; -80kg; -85kg; -90kg; +90kg.
